We aim for local authorities to become self-sufficient in delivering the Coaching to improve performance training courses. 

We therefore offered a Train the Trainer Programme in March 2015, which was attended by 8 authorities.  East Sussex have already started running their own courses in house and these have been very positively evaluated. 

A second course will run on 14th March 2016 at Easthamstead Park, Bracknell 9.30 to 4.30 and there will be opportunities for a further 8 authorities to attend.  Places are available for up to 5 staff per authority. Please contact Di Smith to book your place.

Pre Workshop Preparation:

Each participant should have:

  • completed the 2 day Coaching to improve performance course
  • be an experienced presenter to groups
  • have completed some coaching of their own for at least 3 months.


Course Outline:

The training sessions provides each authority with 4 opportunities in the day to present the material to others and receive feedback. Each authority brings a laptop having preloaded the materials and we use a room with 4 projector screens to enable everyone to have a turn
