COMPLETED PEER CHALLENGES
Peer Challenge rounds 1 to 9 were completed between 2011 and 2017. 46 individual Topical peer challenges and four Leadership & Management peer challenges were completed. Round 10 was planned, but we chose to proceed with the new DCS Peer Challenge instead.
In 2021 one topical peer challenge was delivered in response to a request specific from a local authority. We welcome future such requests.
In 2018, following a 2017 pilot involving a three host authorities, a new series of DCS Peer Challenge was instigated, with six local authorities participating during 2018.
Since then three rounds of DCS Triad and Quartet Peer Challenges have been held annually involving 16, 19 and 15 of the 19 authorities respectively.
Due to covid restrictions the third round was virtually delivered.
The first round of the Lead Member Triad and Quartet Peer Challenges took place December 2020 - February 2021, also virtually delivered, with participation by 16 authorities.
