The SESLIP have been in touch with Professor Brigid Featherstone from the Open University with regard to a regional research project which will improve practice.

Brigid's particular interest is the engagement of the wider children's workforce with the safeguarding agenda. She believes that the family support work, working with people within communities, is a really important element of child protection.
