NSPCC online conference 18 July 2024

On Thursday 18 July, 10 – 11am, NSPCC is holding an online conference Developing your local response to Child Sexual Abuse

Details

The NSPCC is hosting an hour online session for strategic leads and commissioners to explore how we can strengthen the multiagency response to prevent and help children and families to recover from the impact of child sexual abuse.  This work is made possible thanks to the support of the Home Office’s Support for Victims and Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse fund.

The session will feature:

  • The prevalence of CSA and its impact
  • Recognised need and opportunities – presented by the Home Office
  • CSA Systemwide Snapshot offer for local multiagency teams (some funding available)
  • Impact of the CSA Systemwide Snapshot – presented by Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Partnership

Data 2 Insight is promoting another cohort of the Children’s Services Data Analyst L4 apprenticeship, delivered by Corndel.

D2I hope that by providing more notice, and a longer application period, they can avoid the rush that some colleagues have had to prepare an application, and work around any summer absences which may be a factor.
